    ) As Boolean

Return True if the data type of the argument is numeric.
Function returns False otherwise.
More specifically, it considers the following data types numeric: Boolean, Byte, Currency, Date, Double, Integer, Long, and Single.

    IsNumber(34) = True
    IsNumber(1234.56) = True
    IsNumber(#12/31/95#) = True
    IsNumber("34") = False
    IsNumber("A word.") = False
